MechaNika – German Translation

MechaNika by Mango Protocol is an adventure game about the 7-year-old Nika who is fed up with the world she’s living in. Don’t let the cute art style fool you, the game is not suitable for children. It’s cynical, not always political correct and offensive in parts – the perfect mix for a psychotic adventure!

“In MechaNika, the first Psychotic adventure, you will meet Nika, an intelligent girl that doesn’t fit the world in which she lives. Perhaps it’s the chocolate shake with a shot of cognac which she carries in her backpack which makes her different. Or maybe it’s the fact that at 7 years old her favourite things are the transfer of energy, magnetic fields and electrical engineering! But being the odd one out doesn’t matter to Nika. Not anymore. She has a plan to solve everything. A really… odd plan. You read the MechaNika manifesto, right?”

The German translation is only available on Steam so far. The other platforms will be updated at a later date! Do not forget to check out the next psychotic adventure: Agatha Knife.

Café 0 ~The Sleeping Beast~ by roseVeRte is the sequel to the popular Mystery Visual Novel Café 0 ~The Drowned Mermaid~ from 2011. With better art, an original soundtrack, a theme song and a playtime twice as long as the first game, this visual novel is a worthy sequel.

The Present
The story starts in a village with an atmosphere akin to Europe in the 19th century.
There is a big noble villa there where Corliss Green is working.

One day she wakes up and finds herself in front of a weird café.
Noir, the waiter, tells her that she has already died, but failed to go to the heaven and, as a lost spirit, she ended up at the entrance to Café 0.

He later gave Corliss a chance to return to a week before she died.

But does she really need to go to the heaven?
And what is the truth behind her untimely death?

The Past
Sophie Evans works as a midwife.
She is a cheerful woman and everybody likes her.

What is her relation to the missing incident 15 years ago?

Of course Café 0 ~The Sleeping Beast~ offers full Japanese voice acting, just like the prequel. Also you don’t have to play Café 0 ~The Drowned Mermaid~ in order to understand this story!

Reversion – German Translation

Reversion is a three-part adventure series by 3f interactive. So far Reversion – The Escape and Reversion – The Meeting have been released. The second chapter is now officially available in German! Furthermore, I have corrected some minor mistakes in the translation of the first chapter. However, I have to say that the translation was already pretty good and the main credit should go to the original translator.

The games enchant with hand-made 2D art, a compelling story and the cultural references to Buenos Aires!

Now that the second installment is released in German, let’s look forward to the third and last chapter, Reversion – The Return!

Press X to Not Die by All Seeing Eye Games is an interactive live-action adventure. You play the protagonist in the movie yourself, make decisions, and try to stay alive. The whole thing is deliberately trashy and in the style of a B-movie. The game is ridiculous, funny, bloody, and full of crazy moments.

“You wake up to find your town in chaos.  Everyone has gone crazy and is just attacking each other!  A cryptic message is the secret to survival– Press X to not die!”

Discover the ways to die, different scenes, and insane characters. Now also available with German subtitles!

Flat Kingdom – German Translation

Flat Kingdom Paper's Cut Edition LogoFlat Kingdom by Fat Panda Games has been released in the so-called Paper’s Cut Edition and includes my German translation among other features! The platformer game offers an unique battle system that is based on geometrical shapes and works like rock-paper-scissors.

“According to the Flat Kingdom’s legends, the world was once filled with malice and chaos because the 3D realm dominated all. But one day, a wise sorcerer created six Magical Jewels that kept the effects of the third dimension at bay, granting peace and prosperity to the beautiful 2D world. However, one day an evil masked thief named Hex stole one of those Jewels and kidnapped the princess. This disrupted the balance and made the chaos return.”

The game features lovely art, many extras, and music by the legendary composer! Try the demo and convince yourself!
