The Tale of the Talking Frog – German Translation

Today I have another free visual novel for you: The Tale of the Talking Frog by Ein is a really worth a shot for a debut work! The VN has animated sprites, three endings, and is a wonderful retelling of the Frog Prince.

I really liked how well-written the story is, and how detailed the frog and the other characters are protrayed. Take a loook!

The Censor – German Translation

ImageThe Censor by Lucky Special Games is dystopian science fiction thriller. In this free visual novel, you explore as CJ489775 the so-called “System.” Through an integrated visual network you get even more background information about the world and the characters. Furthermore, the game offers five endings and a well-made soundtrack.

Experience a story of betrayal, fear, and “motherly love” in a claustrophobic thriller with believable characters and political undertone. A true gem of the genre!

Days of the Divine – German Translation

Days of the DivineDays of the Divine is another free fantasy visual novel by Circle Pegasi, the developers of Nanolife. Here is the game description:

“Long ago, in a valley where a small village lay, two deities fought each other. One was imprisoned, the other vanished. Yet some time ago, an unnatural mist began lingering in the village, dissolving people’s memories. Biyu, a young shrine maiden, is now working her hardest in the shrine of one of these deities in the faint hope the mist will one day dissolve. Even though her good friend also lost his memory, not all hope is lost; she meets a stranger who seems to be recovering from his memory loss, and rather quickly as well

The game is much longer than Nanolife, and has a different setting. It is more like an otome game; you can pursue one out of three boys. As is usual with Circle Pegasi, the game offers high-definition graphics and a fascinating story. Give it a try!

To Kill A Black Swan

To Kill A Black Swan

To Kill A Black Swan is a short murder mystery visual novel about a detective, a yoga course attendant, a grieving wife, an obsessed cleaner, a “bro”, and a bitchy friend. To Kill A Black Swan is not your average whodunit, nothing is as it seems to be, it is all about superficiality (and beneath the surface it has an important message to tell.) TKABS was created for the 2014 Indie Game Development Contest and is available for free. The title is inspired by To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, but it is an original story.

Features:
* original detective story
* custom soundtrack
* hidden object game elements
* in-game map of the city
* English and German

Midnight Chaos – Release

Midnight ChaosMidnight Chaos is available now. Have you drawn  fan art? Wrote fan fiction or a review? Everyone who contributed something to the Sleepless Night series can get the game for free. Just send me a message and tell me which OS you want the game for. More information about this kinetic novel here.

Those who do not want to draw or write something, can also mention the Sleepless Night on their blog, in a YouTube video or on social networks (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

EDIT: The game is real, it’s no April Fools’ joke. Sorry if that caused misunderstandings. That would’ve been just cruel; asking people for fan art and fooling them. 😀
