In Sagebrush, you’ll investigate the long-abandoned Black Sage Ranch, the former home of Perfect Heaven, an apocalyptic cult formed in the early 1990s under the guiding hand of the prophet Father James.”
Levelhead by Butterscotch Shenanigans is a level building platformer with a challenging campaign for 1-4 players. The game is now available on Steam Early Access and will be released later for the Nintendo Switch.
Together with the team from Level Up Translation we translated the game into different languages – I took care of the German translation, of course.
“LISTEN UP, NEW EMPLOYEE! The Bureau of Shipping has a bunch of newly formed delivery robots runnin’ around, and someone’s gotta teach them the ropes. That someone is YOU. You’ve got your very own GR-18 and you’ll need to work that little robo through training, then build and share obstacle courses with the other Levelheads so we can start dispatching these A.I. across the galaxy! Welcome to the Levelhead division!”

Ash of Gods: Redemption by AurumDust is a turn-based RPG that combines tactical combat, CCG elements, and a constantly evolving story in which no one is safe from death, including the main characters.
The story was written by Russian fantasy author Sergey Malitsky; the soundtrack was made by Adam Skorupa, Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz and Michal Cielecki, whose previous work includes The Witcher, Bulletstorm, Painkiller, EVE Online, Call of Juarez and Shadow Warrior. The game also contains visual novel elements and is, with about 300,000 words, the largest game I’ve translated so far.
The game is now available for PC. Console ports for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One will follow.
“Ash of Gods is the story of three separate protagonists rising in response to a centuries-old menace once thought to be mere folklore.
Ash of Gods’ storyline is constantly evolving in response to players’ choices, sometimes even resulting in death. But, the death of a character is not game over. Instead, the story moves forward with the death of that character and previous choices continuing to impact future events.
Combat in Ash of Gods is a blend of both traditional turn-based strategy and CCG gameplay. While individual tactics will depend upon the skills and classes of your characters, you will unlock and accumulate cards that have the power to unleash powerful abilities, sometimes altering the course of an entire battle.”
Watt and Volt are two twin robots, who have been forgotten by time and abandoned in an old robot factory. Marked as defective by mistake, if they wish to prove themselves as deserving a place in today’s world, they must pass a series of grueling tests.
Watt and Volt will have their work cut out for them, but the good news is you might not have to go it alone as although both robots can be controlled at any moment due to swapping between them, co-op is fully supported, so long as you have a friend to control the other robot. The only thing you’ll need to focus on is what your own robot is doing.
One More Dungeon by Stately Snail is a first person shooter roguelike with procedurally generated levels and pixel-art graphics. Being a nameless adventure seeker, your job is to reach the final level deep within the dungeon and destroy the obelisks that are used by forces of Evil to invade the world. Use a melee weapon, magic staffs, and antique artefacts, to burst way through the hordes of enemies inhabiting a few game areas.
The game has been ported to consoles by Ratalaika Games and was translated into German by myself. Please note that the version on Steam does not include the German translation at the moment.
“This time Midnight’s friends lost of their Star Fragments! Your task is to find them, and take them back, but it won’t be easy. In this procedurally generated platform game, you have to avoid deadly lasers, circular saws and spikes to collect all the Fragments, to get their greatest gift. Do you have what it takes to collect all?”
As of now, the German translation is not available for all platforms. Please pay attention which languages are available for your platform.
